In the 1980’s Erik led the team that created the revered Raichle Flexon Ski Boot series. This patented award winning design became one of the longest success stories in the ski industry. At the Torino Winter Olympics, Flexon Ski Boots could still be spotted on many skiers. Our continued efforts at ski boot design can be seen in the Interfex System, a revolutionary elastomeric flex design. A composite frame under the foot connects to a rigid cuff frame by means of our patented elastomeric Interflex connector. This allows extremely rigid lateral support with forward flex ranging from very soft to very stiff. The boot also includes our MCS sole construction and many other innovative ideas that are currently available to acquire.
